Google's wisdom on Cambodia

According to my google searches, life is sweet and sour. But mostly sweet. Some searches may need a little clarification, some I’m sure speak for themselves.

In the past month I’ve asked the almighty advise of Google on:

-Cambodian spiders poisonous
-Cheap flights to Singapore
-How to kill cockroaches
-Can cockroaches survive nuclear wars
-Nice apartments Phnom Penh city centre
-Titles government officials Cambodia (in order not to offend a His Excellency by calling him Honourable Deputy Minister or the other way around)
-Why hair in Cambodia greasy
-NEFAC, RUPP, SSC, DTMT, NIE, POE, DOE, PETM, etc etc (new acronyms, Oh UNICEF you love them, don’t you)
-Khmer language tutor
-Where to buy yoghurt Phnom Penh
-Do face masks work against air pollution
-Why do Asians love face masks then (subsequent search)
-Address Beautiful Shoes tailor made shoes (15 $!! What are you waiting for girl friends? Book your tickets!)
-How to recognise good quality silk (same same but different as above)
-Time of sunrise Ankhor Wat (but wait, there was no sun. Only rain at 5.15am. Arghh.)
-Yoga with air-conditioning in Phnom Penh
-Romantic accommodation outside of Phnom Penh
-Buy bicycle helmet in Phnom Penh
-Death rate traffic accidents Phnom Penh (to convince Taco)
-Tripadvisor restaurants in Phnom Penh
-Advanced leave policy UNICEF (are you kidding me, Christmas is not a holiday here? How can I go home then for Christmas with my poor 3 days leave balance??)

Google has been generous with its wisdom. I really learned a lot in the past month and can still say: so far so good. In fact, it’s been sweet like sweet sticky rice with coconut and banana.
